Bairro Rent Apartment

The building was very old, and although the decor wasn't bad, the apartment was in appalling condition and wasn't clean. The studio was tiny. We saw a slightly bigger room we liked a bit more, but it was already booked. Cars on the street woke us at night. There's no free parking nearby. The paid parking was quite far from the apartment, and we couldn't pull up close to unload our luggage. After a 6-7 hour trip, that was terrible. The owner wasn't there when we arrived and took half an hour to show up. The parking link she'd emailed was wrong, so we had to find an alley to wait in. It was unacceptable that nobody met us, even though they knew roughly when we'd arrive. The location is relatively good if you're looking for Lisbon's nightlife district on a small street. For a family trip, though, it's a bad fit. Honestly, I don't recommend it. I don't think we'd have liked it even as a couple, and despite what the usual accommodation search engines say, this place doesn't deserve a good rating.
