I had to change my flight, so I asked to cancel the reservation ahead of time. They refused to refund even a cent. And when people leave bad reviews, the people running the place answer with insulting nonsense instead of reflecting on the feedback. If someone takes the time to write a review, they must have a reason. They’d be better off trying to understand that.

Rita and Sophie were kind and helpful, and I’d stay here again. Our room was spacious for two, the bed was comfortable, and the place was quiet and well located. There wasn’t AC, but the fan in the room worked great.

The room they moved us to was smaller, which didn’t bother us, but its bed was less comfortable and noise from the shared bathrooms just outside our door woke us earlier than we wanted. We spent two nights there. On the first night, the room and bed were nice, though there was a mildew smell. We asked to switch rooms, but none was available until the following day. I doubt we’d stay again.

The friendly staff made my first trip easy, and left me with a good impression of Portugal. I stayed in a small room, which wasn’t as nice or clean as it looked in the picture, but it did feel cosy. The building showed plenty of signs of age, though they kept it clean every day, and the bed was especially clean and nice. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. It’s an accessible hotel for the price.
