The room was fairly quiet and had a great view, and the location is excellent. But there weren’t many amenities, and the bed felt like a park bench. With a bed that uncomfortable, I can’t recommend the hotel.

I had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel is beautiful and in a lovely part of Belém. Everything was very clean, and the rooms were wonderful with great views. There’s a refrigerator in the room, and the reception staff are kind and helpful.

The dorm room’s size and appearance seemed fair for the price, so those didn’t bother me. The mold above the shower was unacceptable, though, and the bathroom door had no knob, only a bolt that was hard to use. The floor was dirty too. It was also hard to find the place because there’s no sign out front.

There’s a lot nearby: Jeronimo's Monastery, ticket stalls, the waterfront, parks, museums, restaurants, and bus and tram lines. The Presidential Palace is next door. Inside, the entry is surprisingly spacious, though the hallway takes a roundabout route. Staff were helpful, and we appreciated the large luggage lockers. Our room was quiet and looked over the central courtyard. The bed was very firm, and the bathroom was compact.

Taking price, location, and quality together, this is a really wonderful place. Absolutely recommended. I’ll come back whenever I need to be in Lisbon.
