Meliá Lisboa Oriente

The room was comfortable, clean, a decent size, and well laid out. They can add a third bed, which would work well for a child or teenager. We also liked the buffet breakfast, with its excellent variety, though it starts at 7:00 AM and could open earlier for guests taking early flights or tours. The quality and choice made up for that. Meliá Lisboa Oriente is near plenty of restaurants, and its own tapas restaurant is a convenient, tasty option. It’s directly across from Manteigaria, the famous pastel de nata bakery, and about a five-minute walk from the bus station for FlixBus or trips beyond Lisbon. We loved the stay and would choose the hotel again.

Good value, with a decent choice of places to eat nearby and trains, buses, and the metro all within a short walk. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, with a good range of fruit, vegetables, cheese, pastries, eggs, and drinks. It’s about a 10-minute taxi, Uber, or Bolt ride from the airport.

The location made it easy to get around, with Oriente Station about five minutes away and a shopping centre full of shops and restaurants across the road. There’s a lot to see and do nearby. My room on the 15th floor was spacious and very clean, with a great view of Tagus river. The bathroom was roomy and spotless, and the room had a stocked fridge, plenty of mirrors, and lots of plug sockets. I was a little unsure about the shower being right in front of an open window, though there’s a blind, and once I got past my paranoia it was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good selection. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and I’d happily stay here again. My room on the 8th floor was large and clean, facing the railway station, but I didn’t hear a thing. The bed was very comfortable.
