Browns Boutique Hotel

Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and watching Lisbon go by was one of my favorite parts of the stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with lovely amenities, and the hot shower felt great after a day exploring. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine, and the breakfast package is well worth booking. Service was warm and courteous throughout, and everyone seemed to speak English. There was a huge machine in the room but no dryer, so we didn't use it. The location is hard to beat, with almost everything within walking distance. We'll definitely return to Brown’s Boutique Hotel.

The bed was huge and really comfortable, and I enjoyed the stay. The room wasn't the biggest, but that was fine with so much nearby to do, and prices seemed standard. It's right in the city, with a bar and restaurant on the first floor. The friendly, courteous staff are at reception around the clock, and you get a complimentary welcome drink, alcoholic or nonalcoholic. I'd recommend it.

The rooms are clean and pleasant. The small room is quite small, though still nice for a short trip; the superior room has enough space to spend time in during the day. The lobby feels like home, and the staff are exceptionally nice and often go the extra mile to make you comfortable. The location is great, near the metro and the main bus and tram stops, so you can walk or get around easily. A tip: buy a Lisboa Card online for public transport and free or discounted, sometimes priority, entry to attractions. You need to exchange the voucher for a physical card at the tourist office, a five minute walk away. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back in Lisbon.

The room worked well for the two of us for four nights. We had an interior room with a king bed, plenty of space for us and our luggage, and a fantastic bathroom and shower. The staff were exceptional, always happy to share a story or give information. Free water refills were a big help on our hiking day and all the walking around the city. The food was great, and the ham and cheese croissants were perfect to take along on day trips. Special thanks to Sujan, Pedro, Raphael, and the front desk staff. Sorry I didn't get the names of the woman and man there, they were all fantastic. We had an amazing first trip to Portugal and left feeling we might see them again someday. It definitely won't be our last visit.
