The main drawback was the noise between rooms. The walls don't block much, and the hardwood floors creak. I was on the fifth and top floor, but still heard the neighboring room's late night creaking, which got in the way of a good night's sleep. I had an early flight and felt bad that getting ready in the morning probably disturbed other guests too. My room faced an unattractive courtyard, but the window was well insulated, so outside noise wasn't the issue. Without the noise, this would have earned five stars in its category. I give it a well meant four and recommend it with that caveat. There was a lot to like as well: a central spot in Lisbon's tourist area, just two minutes from Baixa-Chiado metro. The airport takes about 30 minutes with one change at Alameda. Staff were warm and helpful, especially the man who checked me in. The boutique atmosphere, with warm lighting in the rooms and public spaces, felt cozy. They also offered a welcome drink at a cozy sister hotel nearby, Nespresso with plenty of capsules, teas, quality bottled water, and lobby coffee with sweet treats. My room was clean and well appointed, though small, as I'd expected. It worked for traveling solo, but couples with big bags might struggle. Larger rooms are available.

The room was on the small side for two people with luggage, though it was clean and well looked after. The lobby was inviting, and the staff were fantastic. Special thanks to Merrisa and Bruno, two of the most helpful and welcoming people we've met on our European travels. A really nice hotel.

The staff made our 39th wedding anniversary feel special, going out of their way and surprising us with a lovely welcome. They also took the time to answer our questions and point us in the right direction. Our room matched what was advertised and had everything we needed, plus more. The hotel is charming and well located, and its hospitality was a wonderful way to end our European vacation. Thank you!

Such a pretty hotel, and I loved the room's look. The details were spot on, from separate glasses for espresso, coffee, and water to the Marshall speakers, smart TV, and electric kettle. Everything felt just right.

The lobby was a favorite, with complimentary tea and coffee, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is clean, well located, and close to everything, with lots of TV channels. But my room was small, with space for luggage only in the corridor, and the perfume smell when I walked in was so strong I had to open a window. The walls are thin. I could hear neighbors showering, people in the corridor, and kids yelling next door, and I need quiet. I also found the key lock arrangement bizarre and really inconvenient. I hate the main lobby door, and it bruised my finger.
