Forget what the view looks like on Google maps, this is a really good location. It's a short walk from the metro and the tram goes nearby, though we didn't use either. You're right in the heart of the nightlife, but far enough away that we didn't hear the shouting. Vera, a very spritely 72-year-old, met us and was absolutely lovely. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The flat was spotless and had all the amenities. We didn't need the kitchen, but it was well appointed. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a few days over Christmas. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They waited for us at the door, then helped us find a table at a good restaurant even though we arrived late at night. The apartment is large and beautiful, on the first floor among Bairro Alto's narrow streets. It's away from traffic but close to the legendary tram 28 and a short walk from the metro. There's a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a small but comfortable bedroom. The neighbourhood is lively, especially on weekends, with lots of bars and activity. It seemed safe, though a bit run-down, with lots of graffiti on the walls. This part of Bairro Alto isn't really for people who want everything to look beautiful and clean. If I come back to Lisbon, I'd happily stay at Caetanos Loft again.

The place is well furnished and sits in an excellent spot in Bairro Alto, just steps from everything. It's perfect for two, though the extra beds are small. Cleanliness could be better.

A lovely little balcony is a nice extra in this beautiful loft for two couples. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice living room, and a small kitchen. The price is very reasonable.

Joao and Vera are wonderful people, and the apartment is excellent, with everything you could need and more. Great location in the upscale neighborhood. Definitely worth coming back.
