Canaan Boutique Apartments Fanqueiros114

At first the apartment seemed great, but after more than a day we noticed how many basic everyday things were missing. There were five of us, and we kept running short of plates, mugs, and other kitchen items despite the apartment's size. The kitchen knives were almost useless for cutting or slicing. The listing said there'd be coffee every morning, but for our six-night stay there were only five capsules, even though we were three adults.

We loved Lisbon and had a fantastic time, but the host's lack of communication was frustrating. The apartment was clean, comfortable enough, and full of character, in a good location within walking distance of many places. Four of us, two mothers and two daughters, stayed three nights. When we arrived with our luggage, we couldn't get in until we asked the shopkeeper next door to contact the host for the entry code. After we left, we saw the next guests outside with their bags, apparently having the same problem. The fridge was completely empty, not even water or milk. The coffee machine made cold coffee, and someone came to look at it but didn't fix it. On the first night, people upstairs were making a lot of noise, like they were doing DIY.

A clean, modern, well-equipped place with lots of space and an excellent location. I'd highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Lisbon.

We were disappointed by the luggage arrangement after check-out. The owners offered an option for storing our bags until our departure, but when we arrived, the place was closed. Maybe we should have confirmed whether we needed to notify them in advance, but communication about this wasn't good, unlike on other matters. We ended up finding lockers at the train station for €13 per day, which was very convenient. The apartment itself was spotless and cozy, great for a group. Its central location is close to the train station and Lisbon's main sights, yet it was surprisingly quiet at night. A lovely spot for a weekend visit, with peaceful nights.
