Casa Belmonte

The neighborhood was quiet, with lots of restaurants nearby, and the metro was close. It’s also four stops from the ocean. We stayed two nights, so the small, cozy room size was fine for us. Street noise didn’t come through, though we could hear the neighbors through the wall. Apart from that, everything was great, and the staff were very nice.

The place has a simple setup, plenty of character, and everything functioned well. The rooms were tidy and clean, and the staff’s service was so good they felt like friends by the time we left. Lisbon is easy to get around from here by Bolt, Uber, or public transit. We also loved the views from both the front and back of the property.

We appreciated how helpful and professional the staff were throughout our stay, and the location was excellent, close to both the metro and bus stops. The room did have some humidity issues. Also, the building elevator, which isn’t the hotel’s responsibility, was out of service for four of our five days. Even so, it was a good stay and we valued the team’s service.

The rooftop was lovely, and it was handy to have a kitchen. The staff were nice too. The bathroom soap setup wasn’t great, the bed was extremely hard, and it got really loud at night. You could hear everything in the hallways.
