Casa do Jasmim by Shiadu

The breakfast was a real treat, with lots of fresh food, and the balcony had a stunning view. Our room was comfortable and nicely kept, though reaching it at the very top meant quite a climb up the stairs. The low ceiling could be a problem for anyone taller than 1.85 meters. The staff were great, and the old building has charm, though it isn’t especially sleek. It’s in a lovely neighborhood, close to sights and good restaurants, while still peaceful enough to unwind. Great value for money.

Joana’s hospitality really made our trip. She and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the place has a comfortable, homey feel. It’s in a wonderfully laid-back area that’s good for relaxing and getting a feel for local life. For a relaxed evening, Praca das Flores is just down the hill, and Tascardoso is a nearby local restaurant. We’d highly recommend staying here.

The staff were warm and attentive, and there was always someone around to help. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of choices and organic products from a Portuguese farm. There’s also a hot drink machine available all day. Hotel Casa do Jasmim by Shiadu felt instantly welcoming, with its charming, artistic style and spotless rooms. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and I liked having two kinds of pillows to choose from. Good value for what you get, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a very late arrival after flight delays, but the self check-in went smoothly and took the stress out of it. Our room at Hotel Casa do Jasmim by Shiadu was spacious and comfortable, a good place to unwind after long days out exploring the city. Breakfast had a really good range of choices. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lisbon.
