City Hostel Lisbon

The included breakfast and good WiFi made this a great budget stay for me. It's a cozy little hostel, made from a ground floor apartment by the owners, and not too far from Downtown. It was my first time in Lisbon and I wasn't sure what to expect, but I came away pleasantly surprised.

The staff were spectacular, and it's a great base for discovering beautiful Lisbon. Highly recommended. I hope I can come back, there's nowhere better to stay in Lisbon!

It might be cheap, but choose a hostel with nicer staff. I left my phone there, and manager Ruben barely replied to my messages. He said he'd help, then kept making excuses. Two friends of mine were in Lisbon, but he wouldn't even hand the phone over to them. This isn't a fake message, ask me if you want proof. The owner will probably claim he helps, but I expect he'll say the opposite here for marketing.

The walls have damp spots, and the place smells like a bathroom as soon as you walk in. There's nowhere to sit in your room, either. And if you don't like using a towel, that's a big problem.
