Comtesse Guesthouse by Homing

We stayed in an attic where the air conditioning didn’t work. The owner was very hard to reach, and it took a day and a half to get any reply. They didn’t address what had happened or offer any compensation.

The bedding was nice and the room was very clean. You can hear some road noise, though.

There’s a lovely veranda outside under a canopy, with tables and comfy chairs. You can sit there to drink coffee, eat, smoke, or just daydream, sheltered from sun and rain. I’ve attached a photo. I can only give the place a 3. The linens were clean, the bed was comfortable, I liked the posters, and the small fridge was quiet. But the junior suite was tiny, with a sloping ceiling, and it smelled of mildew. It was on the attic floor, room 15 on the third floor. I won’t stay again.

The rooms are perfectly okay, and the place is always clean. The location is fantastic, right in the center and close to everything. There’s a shared living room with two TVs, plus a tidy kitchen with four microwaves, an oven, and four dining tables, so you can always cook. The only issue is that they don’t clean the room unless you ask. Still, I highly recommend it.
