A really clean, well equipped apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Great place, I recommend it.

We stayed at the beginning of January and found it comfortable, with all the necessities. We got around everywhere on foot. Highly recommended.

We could walk to the city center in about 20 minutes, so the location wasn't bad. But the building was filthy, with a strong mold and damp smell. I understand it's an old building, but that doesn't excuse how dirty it was. We never met the owners in person, though they were kind enough to leave us something for breakfast. The listing said it could accommodate four, but there was only one double bedroom. The other couple traveling with us had to sleep on two very uncomfortable folding beds in the living room. There was no window or ventilation in the bathroom, and nowhere to hang clothes or wet towels except a rack in the bedroom. For a short stay, we might have put up with all that if it hadn't been for the dust. With the elaborate decor, carpets, upholstery, and lamps, it must be hard to clean properly, and everything had a thick layer of dust. Its smell mixed with the air freshener and was so strong I could feel it in my throat when breathing. At least it meant we got to know the city well, since we did everything we could to spend as little time inside as possible.

Everything in the apartment is new, and the decor is tasteful. It's fantastic, and we'll definitely stay there again if we come back to Lisbon.
