Duplo Charme Boutique Hotel

The gentleman who greeted us was really nice. Our room was a little small, but the design made it feel less so. It’s not right by the hustle and bustle, though getting around from there was easy.

The location was handy, and the price seemed fair for this area. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the room looked very clean, though the perfume smell was much too strong. The rooms looked much like the photos in the Booking.com ad. The air conditioner blows straight at the bed, which some people might not like. Breakfast is available. A decent option if you want somewhere comfortable without spending too much.

Our booking was for three, but a family emergency meant I needed to cancel. My grandmother had fallen into a coma, and I provided proof of what had happened. They wouldn’t cancel without penalties. When I then asked to change the booking to one person, they said no rooms were available, even though Booking.com showed rooms listed. I understand that hotels have policies, but some compassion in an exceptional situation would have gone a long way. I would never recommend this hotel.

The staff were super nice, and the room was clean. It’s a bit small for two, but manageable. The location is great, with a bus stop across the street and the metro just a few minutes away.
