Feel Lisbon B&B

We booked this because our B&B was cancelled at the last minute. It’s in the center and was relatively clean, but it’s a budget hotel with only the basics. The bathroom smelled of sewage, and footsteps upstairs and in the hall carried so clearly that it was impossible to sleep if someone got up before us. Outside noise wasn’t much of a problem for me, having grown up in a big city. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who sees the hotel as part of the travel experience, not just a place to sleep. If saving money is the priority, though, it might suit you.

I booked this for a colleague who was in Lisbon for work. After we told the manager that the windows did a terrible job blocking sound, this was the disrespectful reply we got. Part 1 „Hey, it's 23h in summer, no one sleeps that early in Lisbon, I'm sorry. You can also close the window, it can help. Or we can transfer you tomorrow to the room that is facing the back of the building. Kind regards Joel Calado - manager „ Part 2 „With a private bathroom, so you get a free upgrade. And no noise. Obviously, as you probably know, we can't refund you for something that we are not causing, we have absolutely no control of whoever decides to join the streets to make noise 🙄 it's like staying in a hotel in kyev and blame the owner of bombs being dropped....“

The stay was otherwise perfect, and excellent value, although it got pretty noisy at night. The place was very clean and nicely arranged. They also found my watch and returned it 🙏🏼.

I stayed for four nights. The location was awesome, the staff were really nice, and the shared bathroom was kept very clean. I liked the decorations and the atmosphere too. Highly recommended.
