Feeling Eduardo VII

Getting around Lisbon was easy, with the metro just steps away, a Lidl next door for everyday things, and a huge shopping mall right across the street. Our room had loads of space, high ceilings, and plenty of light. The entrance hall and dressing room made it feel more like a suite than a standard hotel room. The hospitality made a big difference. The staff were warm, cheerful, and helpful, and we felt like guests in a close friend’s home. Coffee and snacks were available in the breakfast area, including peanuts if you wanted something with a late-night beer. There was also a thoughtful little surprise in our room each day. We’d stay here again without hesitation on a return to Lisbon. Thank you for looking after us so well.

The room was spacious, clean, and well looked after. The location made things easy, with the metro, restaurants, and a shopping mall all close by. Beatriz was especially kind and available when needed. Nothing negative to report.

You can get around the city easily from here: the metro is right underneath the hotel, with connections all over. That makes it handy for sightseeing or a business trip. The location is probably what makes the price somewhat understandable, because the quality felt a bit overpriced. The rooms need attention. The sheets had holes, the wallpaper was stained, and maintenance seemed poor. Housekeeping was uneven too: after asking, we still went two days without shower gel. Breakfast was passable but unremarkable. The buffet uses tiny containers, so food runs out quickly, and refills take a while.

A friendly smile came with the service, and the bedroom was good. Breakfast was simple but okay. The hotel is right by a metro stop, so getting to all parts of the city is easy.
