The apartment was damp and unhygienic, with mold in the corners. There was no window to air it out and no air conditioning to deal with the humidity or heat. The sofa had stains of who knows what, the bed had two absurdly small pillows, and the window door didn't feel secure. When I complained, they said I'd misunderstood the listing and told me to leave the door open to ventilate. That would let people on the street see inside, or worse, give someone a chance to break in. Shameless.

The photos make this place look much better than it is. It might be a nice apartment if the sofa weren't filthy, but there was mold on the walls and cockroaches in the cupboards and even in the fridge. A Booking.com review mentioned cockroaches going back to 2023. The person I contacted offered to bring a product, but that wouldn't make cockroaches disappear overnight. I got apologies, then the email address stopped working. For the price, I expected something decent and got the complete opposite. Shameful. Don't book it. If zero stars were possible, that's what I'd give.

We were greeted by a cockroach on the kitchen counter and ants. I contacted the owner right away, but got nowhere. They said pests were normal in summer and told us to use the spray they had left where the bugs appeared. We didn't want to spend the night there, but none of us wanted to go out either, so we lasted three days. I'm now dealing with the booking company and won't let this go. The apartment itself was attractive and had lots of amenities: a kitchen with a fridge, freezer, capsule coffee maker, and toaster, plus a shower bathroom downstairs and a very basic toilet upstairs. There were shops, cafes, restaurants, and lovely views nearby, with a metro five minutes away and a bus stop three minutes away. But the walk back from the metro scared us. We arrived around 1 a.m., and the city looked different from what we'd expected. We saw several people with drug addictions, including some taking drugs. We didn't feel safe near the accommodation at any time, so over the next few days we avoided being around it late at night and early in the morning. The entrance security didn't help: the door locked poorly with just a simple key, and we had to shut the wooden door with iron bars that were meant to stop anyone getting in. It never felt right, and the whole stay was a huge disappointment that really ruined our vacation.
