Chiado Apartments

Marcia met us out on the street and helped us figure out public parking for our 8-passenger van. The apartment was lovely, large, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a great terrace view. We were there with three young children and felt very safe. The location was excellent, and the bakery around the corner was so convenient. We all had a great stay, though the trouble we had with the apartment lock is why I’m not giving five stars.

The van ride back to the airport that the host arranged was much appreciated, and check-in and check-out were very easy to understand. There are nice views from the top floor, and the location gives you a real old-town Lisbon experience. Nights were a little noisy, though the triple doors and floor-to-ceiling windows did a good job of keeping the sound out.

We had a lovely home base for our first Lisbon trip. It was roomy for two adults, clean, and bright. We liked opening the windows in the evening, and when they were closed they kept the city noise out. The location was perfect, and we’d happily stay again.

Paulo’s team were consistently quick to respond and helpful, which made for a great host experience. The apartment is right in downtown Lisbon, so it’s handy for just about everything. Even with all the activity nearby, closing the windows made it quite quiet. Thanks, and all the best!
