Fullest Apartments

Apartment 201 looked nice at first, but there were careless details throughout. The good parts were the central location, comfortable beds, a quiet AC that worked well, and easy communication with the host. The bathroom smelled and its fixtures seemed poorly put together. The kitchen wasn’t well equipped and didn’t even have a way to make coffee. One bedroom wall had visible damage, soundproofing wasn’t great, and the street below got pretty loud in the evening.

Ricardo was incredibly helpful. We got in before check-in, and he let us leave our bags while the room was being prepared. He also carried our three bags, each over 50 pounds, up three flights of stairs. After lunch, the room smelled pleasantly of cleaning products. There was plenty of space in the rooms to put our luggage. He showed us around the neighborhood, pointed out streets and restaurants to avoid and places suited to the food we wanted, and shared tips for other cities in Portugal we’re visiting.

Ricardo was quick to answer every question while we were there, and offered a late checkout without hesitation. The apartment was spacious and clean, with all the kitchen appliances we needed. Our room did have a damp smell, and the view was just a courtyard and other people’s bedroom windows. We were happy enough for the amount of time we actually spent inside. The location was absolutely perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and a metro station.

For one night, the apartment was fine, though a little run down. It’s on the fourth floor, with lots of stairs. There was a funny smell, including restaurant odors, and the shower was peeling away. They left coffee pods but no machine. The location was great.
