The room stayed quiet, with the bedroom windows keeping street noise very low. The communal bathroom was clean and well maintained, and the kitchen was clean and fairly large. The staff were friendly, and the location was great. Just so you know, we weren't there during peak season.

The bed was hard and lumpy, maybe the worst I've ever slept on, and I wish I'd paid more to stay somewhere else. Garbage trucks seemed to run all night and were really loud. There weren't many bathrooms on the floor, and people would sit inside watching videos on their phones.

I only stayed one night, but had one of the best sleeps of my life. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, in little box-like spaces with curtains. It's a cozy hostel, not too big, with an equipped kitchen and free coffee in the morning. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby.

We spent a week at Green Heart Hostel and were really happy with the stay. The staff were welcoming and quick to help, and the central Lisbon location made exploring easy. The price was very reasonable too. We chose a private bedroom with a private balcony and shared bathroom, and that worked out well. The only small snag was bathroom cleaning. Several shared toilets seemed to be cleaned at once during the busy morning hours, so getting ready could be difficult while access was limited. Even with that, we'd gladly recommend Green Heart Hostel to people visiting Lisbon.
