Hotel do Chiado

The rooftop restaurant was lovely, with a spectacular view, and the food and service were first rate. Our room and terrace were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the linens were fine. We watched the sunrise over the St. George Castle every morning, the terrace view was that good. The location is spot on, with all the sights walkable or reachable by trolley or tuktuk. For my first trip to Lisbon, I couldn't have picked a better place. I highly recommend the Hotel do Chiado!

The balcony looked out over lovely views, and the room itself was beautiful and spacious. It's ideally located for shopping and walks around the area. The staff were so friendly that when I left an item behind, they called me within minutes so I could come back for it. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Lisbon's sunrise view was unforgettable, and waking up to it was the best part of my stay at Hotel do Chiado. The room was comfortable, and the friendly, welcoming staff made it clear they cared about their guests. Everything felt warm, relaxing and special. I'd gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Sunset drinks at the rooftop bar are a must. They had a DJ on the weekend who really set the mood, though service up there was a little slow. The staff were all sweet and helpful. We stayed four nights in a top-floor suite, which had very high ceilings, a large bathroom, a comfortable bed and two sitting areas with glass doors and a nice neighborhood view. At check-in we were given pastel de natas, a lovely treat and my first taste of them in Lisbon. The hotel is ideally placed for shopping and sightseeing, and I really loved it. :D
