We’ve stayed here before, and came back for a long weekend. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location makes getting around easy. Terreiro do Paço Metro, the Tejo and the old town are all just a few minutes away on foot. Our room was smaller this time, but still clean and pleasant. It had A/C that also works as heating, which is handy on cold days and something not every hotel offers. They also have lovely rooms with river views.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a clean, family-run place with attentive and courteous staff. The river is almost right outside, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. We walked to Alfama, St. Jorge's Castle and the city center, while the metro, ferry, tram and buses were all within easy reach.

The rooms, including the ones with river views, are spacious, and everything was clean. The staff were lovely and the location was good too. Breakfast had a decent spread: cheese, ham, pastries, sliced fruit, yogurt, cereal, tea and coffee. No eggs, though.

We stayed four nights and would happily come back. The hotel is close to the waterfront, shops and plenty of restaurants, and both the room and the rest of the place were clean. The staff were friendly. My only gripe was that the bathroom felt a bit dark.

The location is superb, though the hotel looks a little worn. Breakfast was very basic, and the same each day.
