Lisbon Center Modern Art Apartment

For the price, the standard was great. It’s not the cheapest place, but everything was on point. The crew offered us a lunchbox when they knew we’d be leaving early. Check-in was fast, and checking out at any time, well before opening hours, was easy. There are some amazing food places just a 4-7 minute walk away.

The location couldn’t be better, and the breakfast included in the price was excellent, a few levels above what I’ve had at similar city hotels in this price range. For a budget-friendly place in the inner city, this one really surprised me. They’d put real effort into the rooms, which were interesting in a good way, and ours had water and a free bottle of wine. The staff were very helpful and even printed some pages for me. There’s a small but lovely rooftop bar and terrace with amazing views. During happy hour I had four pints outside in the sun for just over €9 total.

We stayed here twice during our eight days in Portugal, and both visits were amazing. The staff were polite and courteous, and knew Lisbon well enough to help us get around. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and really pleasant. They also packed breakfast for our early flight, which was the icing on the cake. Thanks, we can’t wait to come back to Lisbon and stay again!

We enjoyed this little hotel so much that we made sure to book it again. The rooftop bar and breakfast area are beautiful. We’re looking forward to checking out their Seattle location one day!
