The apartment was filthy when we arrived and looked nothing like the photos on this site or the rental portals. The landlord seems uninterested in putting things right and deliberately misleads tenants. There are dangerous gaps in the wooden floorboards, with some just covered in tape, black mold throughout the shower, and windows and doors that don't shut properly. Shabby and falling apart. Do not book.

We had a good stay in one of their apartments in 2022 after booking through the early bird offer on their own site, which advertises discounts for direct bookings. So we used the same method for June 2023 and got an email with a booking confirmation and reservation number from Lisbon Dreams. When we emailed in April to ask how to pay in advance, they said they couldn't find the booking because of a system error. They offered no alternative, apology, or discount on a future stay, and told us there was plenty of time to find somewhere else. Anyone in travel should know how hard it is to find affordable, nice accommodation in Lisbon in summer. We managed to get another holiday apartment, luckily, but it cost us more than twice as much as the reservation that disappeared. As ordinary consumers, we can't afford to take legal action and claim the difference. An email confirmation apparently isn't enough. Be careful and check that your reservation is really confirmed.
