Lisbon Hostel Terminal 4

It's a hostel, so keep that in mind. The beds aren't especially soft, but still better than the airport or the floor. There's a full kitchen, complimentary tea and coffee, lockers for valuables, a lock on the bathroom, a hairdryer and towels. Everything is cleaned daily and I didn't notice any smell. Point the shower head away from the door before turning on the water :) The owner and other guests were friendly and respectful. I waited 30 minutes for the check-in link email, and another guest still hadn't received theirs by the time they arrived. I got the door code six hours after check-in.

Horrible. Smells like mold, and customer service is bad or nonexistent. Don't stay here, even if you need to be near the airport.

The layout is like a small house. You come in through the kitchen, which leads to two rooms, each with its own bathroom and shower. My room had a sofa and three bunk beds. The bunks had no privacy curtains and squeaked whenever anyone moved. The bathroom door did nothing to block sound, so it wasn't a quiet night. On the plus side, the room kept the light out well and stayed quite dark even with the sun outside. Everything seemed clean to me except the bathroom floor, which got wet when people came out of the shower since there was no cloth mat. Shoes tracked through that water made the floor pretty disgusting. I didn't use the kitchen, but it looked very clean. I booked one night through booking and everything else went well. The directions for finding and getting into the room were clear, and arriving at midnight for a late check-in was no problem. There was an unexpected city tax at check-in that wasn't part of the amount I'd paid on booking.

We needed somewhere to sleep during our layover, and this had everything we needed for one night. The host was super accommodating and nice. There's also a kitchen and living room, with tea and coffee, which would be handy for a longer stay. The host let us leave our luggage in the living room after checkout so we could do a bit of sightseeing before our next flight 🙏🏻 The metro is one stop from the airport!
