Memory of Lisbon

The receptionist was very friendly, and the rooms were lovely. We had booked a room with a private bathroom, but it was occupied, so we were put in another nice room beside the reception and entrance. It was incredibly noisy there, and we couldn’t sleep at all. We rebooked that same night and left after just one of our four planned nights. We waited for compensation, but none came.

Breakfast was toast, coffee, juice and milk from cartons, muesli, cold cuts, and cheese. In Lisbon, you can get a much better breakfast for 10 euros, or one that’s at least as good for 5-6 euros. Check-in was also rough: nobody was at reception, so I had to call. They only told me the next day that I could use an app on my phone to lock and unlock the door.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher and dining area, and there are three clean bathrooms: one for women, one for men, and one for everyone. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Great location, highly recommended.

Everything felt new and was very clean. If nobody is there when you arrive, knock and they’ll give you the codes for all the doors. Parking was easy to find, though you have to pay almost everywhere. I’d definitely return.
