My Story Hotel Figueira

The hotel is new and renovated, and our room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was awesome. It’s centrally located, close to everything and near Rossio station. The staff were friendly and suggested places for dinner. We’d definitely stay again!

My family of three stayed at My Story Hotel Figueira February 6-9, 2026. We paid about 670 euros after booking around 3-4 months ahead. The family room had lots of space, linked rooms, and two bathrooms, which was really convenient. Reception were accommodating and responsive, and housekeeping did a great job. It’s central, comfortable, good value, and the accommodations were high quality. We’d absolutely return to this amazing hotel on our next Lisbon trip!

Breakfast was plentiful, with plenty of variety, and the service was friendly. The location is handy too: a few minutes on foot to the start of Tram 28, an easy walk toward the waterfront, and close to Rossio, one of the main metro and rail stations. It worked well for visiting Sintra. The room is where I’d advise checking carefully what “double” means. We could barely move around. The standard double bed took up so much space that one side had no bedside table, since that area was needed to open the small wardrobe. Our two suitcases had to sit on the floor in the narrow passage opposite the small but good bathroom. With nowhere else for my glasses and case overnight, I left them on the floor. A stray foot probably pushed them under the bed and out of sight, and I left them behind. That was my fault, but the lack of bedside space didn’t help. I told the hotel that day, and the staff responded quickly and arranged a next-day courier to our next hotel. Phew. That’s why I gave four stars overall.

On our last night, the team surprised my wife with birthday wishes, a bottle of sparkling wine and dessert. Such a thoughtful touch. The restaurant was an excellent choice, and breakfast was delicious too. Our room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the staff genuinely helpful. My Story Hotel Figueira is ideally placed on Praça da Figueira, about a minute from Rossio and five minutes from Baixa–Chiado. It’s easy to get around on foot or by metro. We loved our stay and would gladly return.
