Myplace - Lisbon Principe Real Studio

The apartment we got was nothing like the advertised photos. They have several different apartments and seem to show only the clean, modern ones. We stayed in apt 45 on the second floor, up narrow stairs. It was very old, with furniture that looked like it came from a second hand store. There was no air conditioning, so it felt stuffy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was filthy, with black mould between the tiles and an old shower curtain covered in mould. The apartment was still dirty when we arrived, so we had to leave our bags while it was cleaned. Once sorted, it was very nice, with comfortable beds and a good bathroom. The location is excellent, only a 10 minute walk to Camoes.

The host does a very good job, and the location in Lisbon is good. The apartments, though, are in ridiculously bad shape and look nothing like the pictures. The kitchen has no light, and the stairs are very narrow. Two stars for the host and the location.

The apartments are well put together, and the staff are kind and can give great information about local sightseeing spots. The prices are totally manageable. I'd visit again.
