We only had a very short stay as a couple, but it was memorable. The hotel's modern, elegant look and spotless rooms, peaceful setting and river views made it easy to relax. The staff were welcoming, professional and attentive from the start. Alla, the Front of House Manager, made check-in effortless and was always available for questions. She was warm and professional, and made us feel valued. We missed the sunset because we had to travel to Faro to visit a friend, but the next morning's sunrise over the bridge and Tagus River was breathtaking and peaceful. I can see how scenery like that could inspire creative minds. Breakfast was beautifully laid out, with options for every taste. I'm fussy about food, but tried a few things outside my comfort zone and each was prepared to a very high standard. The hostess in the breakfast room was welcoming and very helpful. The thoughtful service and lovely surroundings made this a fantastic experience. We'd highly recommend the hotel and would gladly stay again on our next Lisbon visit.

We booked because our conference was being held at the hotel. Months before arrival, I requested a room with a bathtub but got no reply. Hotel staff usually answer my questions or requests, but that didn't happen here, and we ended up with a shower instead, which was disappointing. The location is well away from the old downtown, though walking beside the river is nice. The room was clean but small, and its design and furniture didn't feel up to a five-star standard. There's no curtain around the shower, so there was no privacy when sharing with a friend. The bidet also gets in the way when using the toilet. I wish the window reached the floor for a better view, and the tea bags weren't replenished. The breakfast room has a great view. The buffet was adequate but didn't stand out, though staff cleared used plates very quickly. We paid 280€ a night with breakfast and didn't feel the overall deal was worth the money.

We spent four nights here and had a wonderful stay. If we visit Lisbon again, we'd definitely return. Breakfast had lots of choices, and thanks especially to Klisman Francisco, a hardworking young chap who made an effort to remember guests and what they needed. We also ate at their 2-star Michelin restaurant Fifty Seconds, where the food and wine pairing were good. There are plenty of cafes and eateries nearby. The quiet, peaceful getaway was a big part of the appeal. The check-in time was flexible, depending on room availability, of course, so it isn't guaranteed. Front desk manager Sofia Pinheiro was very friendly and helpful, and made our stay memorable. One of the best hotels in Europe for check-in flexibility.

We came for dinner and were really impressed by the experience and service. Restaurant manager Sofia was so friendly, and we felt as if we were hotel guests. The place was spotless, and the main bathroom looked like a spa. When we drove up, the front staff opened the door and made us feel like royalty, so welcoming and helpful. It was phenomenal. I’d definitely stay there next time.
