New Luxury Flat in Santa Clara

The host, Telmo, got in touch on WhatsApp before we arrived and made sure we had the details we needed, including airport transport options, the address, and the access codes. Our large room had lots of space to unpack for the week, and each room uses its own access code to keep belongings safe. We shared a bathroom with two other rooms, but never had any major trouble waiting for it. The kitchenette had plenty of equipment, and having laundry available was a big help. Santa Clara Lisbon rooms was well worth the stay. It’s in the older part of the city, quieter than the middle of Lisbon, and we enjoyed wandering the winding streets and trying the food nearby.

I spent three nights at Santa Clara Lisbon Rooms. It’s in Alfama, near the National Pantheon and Santa Apolonia train and metro stations, with the main sights close by. You can walk or take a tram into the city centre. Telmo was easy to reach on Whatsapp and arranged an early check-in so I could leave my luggage on arrival. The room was nice and had a good view. A good value option if you don’t mind Alfama’s hills.

I tried both room types, one night in a room with its own bathroom and another in one with a shared bathroom. I preferred the shared-bathroom room upstairs, since you don’t hear people walking around and coming into the apartment as much.

Great spot in Alfama, right in front of Panteao Nacional and just a few steps from tram 28E. The room was clean, and there were large shared areas where you could eat lunch, read, or work. Check-in is self-service. Recommended.
