Patio São Vicente Guest House

Victor and Laura’s place was a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh linens, a good bed, working A/C, a coffee pot, a refrigerator, and everything else we needed. Communication was clear and prompt, and check-in was easy. The manager shared very specific directions through Google Photos, which made the place easy to find. It’s close to a couple of stores and the Thieves Market, held every Tuesday and Saturday and definitely worth a visit. Despite the convenient location, the place sits back and up a small hill, so it was very quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. The little courtyard was lovely for a glass of vino.

I found this a very comfortable home, with a simple style and a lot of thought put into how everything works. The bath area drained well, the pillows were comfortable, and the attractive chairs made it nice to sit and take in nature. Set in a historic courtyard beside an old church, it felt like a special little getaway. Just take care on the steep ramp into the courtyard if you’re driving.

Patio São Vicente was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms, service, and neighborhood were all impeccable, and the photos don’t really capture how nice it is. Right in the heart of Alfama, it’s close to lots of restaurants, bars, and attractions. I’d absolutely come back.

The courtyard was my favorite spot, perfect for morning coffee, chatting with other guests, or unwinding after exploring. They also provided handy basics like coffee, sugar, shampoo, and body wash. Inside, everything was stylish and very clean, and the beds were comfortable for a good night’s sleep. It’s a peaceful haven in the heart of Alfama. I’m a very happy guest, 10/10, and highly recommend it!
