Pestana Rua Augusta - Lisboa

The staff were welcoming from check-in through check-out, and always glad to offer recommendations. The breakfast buffet had good-quality food, and we enjoyed a drink at the bar too. Our room on the 4th floor was quiet enough, clean, and felt fresh. It was a good size for such a central spot, even though most guests are probably out exploring during the day. I’m usually fussy about hotels, and I was happy with everything here. We visited Lisbon with my mum, and the location worked perfectly. Arco da Rua Augusta and Santa Justa Lift are nearby, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and bakeries an easy walk away. There’s an Uber pick-up point about a minute away, and tuk-tuk drivers wait outside in the mornings if you want a day tour. They seemed friendly and not pushy. I think the hotel would suit couples too. I’d stay again and happily recommend it to friends. Thanks to the team for such a warm stay!

Everything you need is just outside the door, and the hotel is right in the middle of things. The rooms are well equipped, and the staff are attentive. This was my second stay, and I’ve enjoyed both visits. When I’m in Lisbon, I’ll stay here again.

After our long flights, being allowed to check in early was such a relief, and checkout isn’t until noon. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, modern, and very well maintained. The hotel itself is lovely, near the waterfront and the arch, with shops and restaurants a short walk away. We’ll definitely stay here if we’re in Lisbon again.

The breakfast space may feel a little small when it’s busy, and reception can be rushed at times since they’re always occupied. Still, the bar is good for a drink, and the rooms are roomy enough for a comfortable stay with good sleep. The hotel is easy to reach from both the airport and the sea, right by the historic city center, with the castle, church, and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Rua Augusta Gate is next door with its magnificent design, and boat river cruises are only a few minutes’ walk away.
