Helena was incredibly kind when I got sick. She went out of her way to bring me medication and check how I was doing, which I really appreciated. The place was very clean, and the room was exactly as described on the booking site. I had a great stay!

Our reservation was cancelled by the hotel just 2 hours before check-in. We were already on our way to Lisbon when we found out we had nowhere to sleep for the next 4 nights. We had to find another place at the last minute, and of course only the most expensive hotel rooms were left. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Booking.com sorted things out after I arrived to find there was no apartment for me, even though I’d already been charged. The property hadn’t told them about the overbooking, and I got no warning before showing up. Booking.com found me a better-located hotel and refunded the price difference as well as the charge for the apartment I never used. Still a bad experience.

The rooms are tiny, have no windows, and the bathroom is shared. The owner also requires tourists to show their passports twice, before and during check-in, saying it’s for the Federal Police.
