Residentas Sao Pedro

We had a great two-day stay in Lisbon. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, and its spot in Bairro Alto came with an amazing view over the city, though it is up a hill. Everything was handled online, and we never met anyone, so it felt a bit impersonal, but the communication was very good and the instructions were clear. I’d definitely stay again.

The front bedroom had a gorgeous view across the city, and the apartment was comfortable, beautiful, and in a perfect location. The staff were super great. It can get a little loud late at night with all the popular restaurants around. I could sleep through it, but my friend needed earplugs. The bus and trolley stop right outside, and there’s a bakery downstairs with fresh lattes. I highly recommend it.

The area is lively, with lots of places to eat and drink and easy access to buses, trams, and the Lisbon hop-on hop-off bus. There’s a market across the road with people around until 11pm on Saturday, and later on other days; they even provide earplugs. The flat is at the top of the hill, but it’s an easy walk downhill to Chiado for supermarkets and shopping. The rooms are lovely and big. We got a nice gift box with jam, honey, crackers, coffee and other things, plus a bottle of wine. It’s a very lovely flat, and they seem to have thought of everything.

The view was unbelievable, and the staff were spot-on with their replies and service. They let us know when housekeeping would come and sent a long list of places to eat. There’s a bakery right underneath the apartments where you can get all the tarts. We visited in the off season, so the daytime crowds outside weren’t too bad. Weekend nights can be noisy in the alley beside the building, with lots of partygoers and some bars behind it. The windows did a good job of reducing the sound, and earplugs were provided in the bathroom. Light sleepers might find it tricky, but the apartment and view were well worth the noise we heard.
