The advertised photos don’t show the rooms as they really are. The building is old, and the rooms are cramped, narrow, and in a poor state. There weren’t even sheets on the beds. At €36 a night, it’s far too expensive for those conditions. Places like this shouldn’t be advertised. Shameful.

The room had barely 30 centimeters between the bed and wall, with no closet or even a coat hanger. The shared bathroom was vile, with mold hanging in stalactites and dead cockroaches. They charged €2 for a 0.2-cl bottle of water, €2 for a tiny bag of chips, and €2 for a towel, all way out of line with Lisbon prices. Disgusting place. It should be closed!

Get out of here. This place feels like a slumlord operation. Our group found rooms with no windows and renovations in a deplorable state. The bathrooms on every floor were filthy: toilets weren’t fixed to the floor, paint was peeling off the tiles, grout was moldy, and the bathtub was scratched and dirty. In my room, there was a duvet without a cover and a pillow without a pillowcase. There was a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall, but its power cord couldn’t reach an outlet.
