SANA Reno Hotel

The pool and sauna were a lovely way to unwind after long days walking around in the sun. We found the location convenient too, close to the airport, with bus and metro stops right outside or nearby for getting into the city centre. My partner and I stayed five nights. The room was plain but comfortable, with plenty of space, very clean, and had a mini fridge and safe. Breakfast came with the stay and had a very good range of hot and cold food, including lots of vegetarian choices. Reception and breakfast staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable visit and would gladly stay here again.

I found it a great place to stay. The pool was impressive, the room was good, and the staff were helpful. I was a little puzzled that restocking the tea and coffee in the room cost extra. It seemed like an odd cutoff for something that can’t cost very much. The hotel is very nice and well placed for both the airport and central Lisbon. We were also surprised that breakfast was included.

Fayaz at the front desk made our stay extremely uncomfortable. He was rude, impolite and unhelpful, and didn’t seem to know how to deal with hotel guests. He needs customer service training, and I don’t think he should be working in hospitality. The mini fridge in our room also didn’t work. They wouldn’t replace it and gave us ice instead, which was very inconvenient. That shouldn’t be how a trip feels.

Antonio, the barman, was the standout for us. He was fantastic, kept our whole group entertained, and went above and beyond. The hotel was spotless, the pool was lovely, and housekeeping kept the rooms super clean. We were there from 10 to 14 September and had a great stay. The location was perfect, close to everything, with a nearby metro station connecting across the city. Highly recommended.
