Breakfast was one of the highlights, with lots of continental choices and kind, attentive staff. The rooms were smaller, but still comfortable, stylish, and impeccably clean, with everything smelling freshly laundered. It's a great little boutique hotel, close to many notable Lisbon sights, with plenty of shops just outside and trendy restaurants only a few minutes away.

We wanted a central place that gave us a little feel for local life, and this fit us perfectly. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the staff were so helpful and gracious. Breakfast had lots of choices too, enough to suit any taste. We were after somewhere with its own character rather than the same kind of chain hotel we have in the US, and we weren’t disappointed. Thanks for a really pleasant stay!

For what we paid, we expected a well-run hotel with decent service, but this stay was nowhere near what was advertised. The room was tiny, with the bathroom right beside the bed, and there wasn’t a proper lobby or reception downstairs, which felt uncomfortable. Noise was a constant problem: traffic came straight through the closed windows, and we could hear footsteps, the elevator, toilets flushing, and even plugs being connected and disconnected next door. The elevator also stopped working, so after a long day we had to use the stairs.

Breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and a decent size. It’s a lovely little hotel in a busy, convenient area, so bring earplugs if street noise bothers you. Coming and going is easy. Reception is on the top floor, though, and the lift only gets you to the fourth, so carrying luggage up the rest of the way is awkward.
