The staff were always welcoming, kind, and helpful, and my room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. I had a wonderful stay at Universo Romantico in Lisbon. The hotel has a charming, cozy feel, just right for a quiet, authentic experience in the city.

We stayed recently while touring with team members. The hotel is central to the city centre and lots of amenities. We had a good stay overall, and the front of house was helpful, with staff always willing to assist. One of the best budget hotels in Lisbon City Centre of 🇵🇹 Portugal.

The price felt completely fair for the standard, and the room met expectations. The bathroom was shared with about half the floor, maybe three rooms, but it was clean and always available. The receptionists were very nice and let me store my luggage without any trouble.

The price is OK, but I didn't like the place and won't stay here again. The bathroom wasn't nice, and water kept running from the toilet. Housekeeping started making noise after 10am when they began cleaning. I complained, but they were making noise again the next day.

For an affordable visit and a short stay, this place does the job. It's basic, no-frills accommodation, but very clean, and breakfast was perfect. My room was cleaned each day and came with fresh towels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's around 10-15 minutes from the centre, with scooters available nearby and cafes and shops close for supplies. The road can get busy at night, so bring earplugs.
