Jaca - Hostel

I thought I wanted to travel alone, but at Jaca Hostel I quickly realized good company was what I needed. You’ll find that here. Lewis and Kevin made me feel welcome and part of the hostel family, and I’m so grateful to them. The room was perfect, and the whole house was really pretty. Somehow, on the other side of the planet, it soon felt like home. Big thanks to the Jaca team!

I spent the first two nights in a lovely private room with stunning views, just a two-minute walk from the beach. For my last two nights I stayed in the shared attic, which I loved. The mattresses were really comfortable, and each bed had its own curtain for privacy. It’s friendly and easy to meet people. Marta, the volunteer host, was so helpful and nice. I’d definitely recommend the place and stay again!

We weren’t staying there, but late on a Monday the whole town was shut down. They still found enough space and food for us and cooked burgers even though we had no reservation. The burgers were delicious, cooked perfectly medium, and the curry fries were great. Cheap beer, lovely staff, beautiful girls and scenery. 10/10, would recommend.

I rented surfboards there and enjoyed the hostel a lot. The staff were super friendly, and the cozy living room made me feel at home. They’ve got a tap for pouring your own beer on an honesty bar, which is great. If you can, go on Pizza Friday. It was the best pizza I’d had in a long time, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Would love to come back 😊
