Refugio Do Esquilo

The vegan food is very well made and based on traditional Portuguese dishes. The owners run it as a family service, and they're five stars, as are their two four-legged friends. We loved it! It's a small, family-run place that stands out for being different. There's a children's area, outdoor space, a terrace, and local accommodation. Wheelchairs and baby strollers can get around well, though the space is small for accommodating them.

Simply wonderful. The atmosphere, the friendly welcome, and especially the fantastic food all deserve five stars. Congratulations to the owners for the care and love they put into welcoming everyone and preparing each vegan dish!

A peaceful, safe retreat with clean rooms and a lovely garden. Pets stay free, and Filomena and her family are very kind and helpful. Make sure to try their delicious bread. Excellent, fully recommended, and we'll be back. Thank you so much.

You can bring animals into the restaurant, and they also offer accommodation. It's best to reserve a table. The service is very friendly, and the food is really good, all vegan even when the dish names might not sound that way :)
