This is a youth hostel, so you get what you pay for. The building looks good and seems quite new, and the location is great. The rooms are poorly decorated and the bed isn't the best. Breakfast was the worst part: just some buns with really low-quality ham, cheese, and coffee. A terrible way to start the day.

The location by the Minho River is fantastic, and you can walk to a riverside beach. Parking was easy. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and pretty much what you'd expect from a pousada, and nights were quiet. Check-in was difficult, especially on the weekend.

We had some wonderful days here and I loved the whole stay. It has a lovely family atmosphere, the staff are incredible, and the nearby pool is fantastic.
