Dona Paula welcomed us very kindly. The common areas are spacious and decorated with hunting scenes. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with bread, ham, cheese, cakes, and other local specialties. The rooms could be a little larger, but they’re very comfortable. A great experience in the heart of the Alentejo, with its breathtaking, typical landscapes.

The pool was good, and there was plenty of pleasant open space. It’s a really peaceful place, with friendly neighbors. Sr. Manuel is a very kind person. I enjoyed my stay a lot and would recommend it to anyone who likes quiet.

The setting is idyllic, in a village where all the inhabitants are cats, and it’s a lovely spot for enjoying nature. The owner is pleasant and attentive. The shared spaces are the main draw, with exquisite decor and a great lounge. The bedrooms are really just for sleeping and nursing a hangover, though, and could do with some improvement. The place is geared toward hunters.

We paid almost 200 euros for a room in a beautiful place, but the service was shameful. We booked because it had a pool, only to find it dirty and closed. The room was tiny, the AC was broken, and they didn’t clean the rooms. We weren’t even given a bottle of water. And they still charge 6,50 for breakfast 🙄
