We had plenty of room, a comfortable king size bed, and a quiet stay close to the castle ruins. The apartment felt like home, with a full kitchen, washing machine, and two AC units, one in the bedroom and one in the larger living room. There’s a great view, too. This cute little village is where most of the scenes for season 1 of HBO's "The House of Dragon" were filmed. The town has put a lot into its infrastructure, including lit, paved walking paths, and posters around town explain the scenes from the HBO series.

The owner made a generous, delicious breakfast. The guesthouse itself is fantastic, with a carefully thought-out interior and a rooftop terrace where you get beautiful views of Monsanto.

The owner was very friendly, and the room was clean, cozy, and fine for a standard room. Breakfast was simple but good: coffee, milk, juice, fruit, pastries, toast, butter, and jam.
