Hotel Rural Misarela

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a nice hammock on the balcony. The pool was amazing and suitable for children, and there’s also a pool table, a game room, and a lovely area for breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location. I only missed having a refrigerator in the room. The restaurant looks great, but the menu doesn’t offer much variety and it’s open only for breakfast and dinner. Otherwise, we would have eaten most of our meals there.

After a warm day, we loved unwinding by the pool. The building is beautiful, renovated while keeping its original style and feel. Breakfast had lots of choices and was really good. In the evening they serve a small range of dinner dishes, nothing fancy, but very tasty and just right after a long hike. The staff were kind and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

We wished we’d booked a longer stay. It was so peaceful, the sofas were comfy, the beds were hard to leave, and the food was delicious. The setting was beautiful and tranquil, and it felt like staying with friends. We regretted not having a car, but Bernardo and his family were very kind and took us to a local waterfall walk that was fantastic, and we wouldn’t have wanted to miss it. Thanks for the warm, unobtrusive hospitality.

We had a great stay at the hotel in mid-October. The building’s architecture is beautiful, and breakfast was excellent. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I’d definitely return and highly recommend it.
