Quinta do Oratório Agroturismo

The view from the entrance is a surprise, with medieval Obidos in full view and the ocean beyond. We’ve hiked past this farm on the way to Obidos many times without realizing what a fabulous place it was. The renovation is tasteful, blending rustic wood with modern, comfortable finishes. It’s stylish, and the pool is another pleasant surprise, a spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the quiet countryside less than a five-minute drive from Obidos. The road ends not far beyond the property and becomes a rough track. You can hike downhill through the orchards to Obidos in about half an hour, though the uphill walk back takes longer.

I only have good things to say about Quinta do Oratório! It was an amazing place for a holiday. The location, the place itself, the pool and the views are all hard to put into words. I recommend it 100%!

We spent five days here as a family and only wished we could have stayed longer. António and his father were always smiling, incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. They gave great advice and were always available. The peaceful setting is ideal for activities, with relaxation and authenticity guaranteed. Breakfast arrived at the door every morning, with fresh fruit and homemade treats. Try the jam, it’s amazing! The room was clean and smelled wonderful. We’re leaving nostalgic for the people who welcomed us. Thank you for everything, and see you soon!

We loved our family holiday here. Everyone was so friendly and ready to help, and the place was peaceful. It had everything we needed close by, so we’d happily come back.
