Alfama Premium by Homing

We liked having a beer in the courtyard and watching the nightlife on the street. The rooms were well designed, the location was perfect, and the staff made us feel welcome and were helpful. Such a cute little hotel.

The welcome at the front desk really made our stay. He offered us drinks, taught us a little Portuguese, and let us try a local liquor. I hadn't expected much from the location, but it turned out to be perfect. There's an amazing view right across the way that people have to climb up to see, and you can walk all through alfama from there, stairs and all. Our room had a wonderful view too. The room was small, but that's Lisbon. We liked the bar area and the spot for coffee with a view and people watching. A busy road is right there, but it didn't bother us while having coffee or drinks. One thing I'd change: remove the bar going into the bathroom, since it's very easy to bang your toes on it.

Traveling alone for work in January, I had a great stay and felt very well looked after from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the service was amazing. Lincoln at the front desk deserves a special mention. He was kind, made a real effort to make sure I was having a good time, and gave me great recommendations. His attention to detail made the trip memorable. He's a big reason I'd absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We couldn't have picked a better place for our first 3 nights in Portugal. After a long overnight flight, the chilled water and pastel de nata from the welcoming staff were much appreciated, and being able to check in early was a nice bonus. The hotel is in Alfama, centrally placed for exploring and getting to the downtown areas quickly. Even though it's on a main street, our room was very quiet.
