The staff were incredibly nice, and I’d happily recommend eating at the restaurant. They have a fantastic oven for pizzas and other dishes. I tried the francesinha made with homemade pizza dough, and it was awesome. I wish Madrid had that sauce for patatas bravas! The breakfast was tasty, though the choices were a little limited, and the restaurant itself was OK. The hotel is new and everything was very clean. Thanks for having us, and hopefully we’ll see you again soon.

After a hot day cycling on our first night of the Pedalquest tour from Porto to Lisbon, Redbox was a lovely, cool place to arrive. Mara hosted us, the hotel felt fresh and clean, and we had lovely meals and a luxurious bed.

The restaurant was a highlight, with plenty of beautifully prepared, flavorful dishes. The staff were genuinely pleasant and attentive from the moment I arrived, and my room was roomy, spotless, and very comfortable. I had a fantastic stay at the REDNYX Hotel and would definitely return when I’m in Cortegaça. Highly recommended.

The location is great: the forest is a minute away on foot, while both the beach and town are about a 15-minute walk. It’s a brand new hotel too.
