We loved the room's size, especially the great bathroom and kitchen area, and the location worked perfectly for us. The staff at Santa Clara 1828 were so kind and helpful, with amazing recommendations. The property gets five stars from me, but the staff take it to 6/5!

The unit was spacious, modern, clean, and had everything we needed. Parking was a little tight, but we found a spot nearby each of our five nights. Luis met us on the first day, got us settled, and even showed us around the area, including where to find groceries, Gelato, and good restaurants. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sao Miguel.

The complimentary local sweet bread at check-in was a nice touch. We stayed four nights and highly recommend it. Great service, modern and clean, and they even provide beach towels.

Paulo and Claudia were especially kind and helpful, which made our stay even better. We had a wonderful time in São Miguel. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable, and there were lots of great food options nearby. Highly recommend!

We appreciated the booklet of restaurant and attraction recommendations, and the beach towels were a great addition to the room. The place was very clean and centrally located. A wonderful experience, and we'd definitely stay again!
