Quinta do Outeiro 1598

The pool area fits beautifully into the surroundings, and the views and greenery are so calming. We found Quinta do Outeiro 1598 to be a wonderful place for a peaceful, relaxing escape in northern Portugal. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, while the lounges were lovely for unwinding after exploring the Minho countryside. I recently stayed there in Ponte da Barca and had an amazing time. Highly recommend it!

The sweet breakfast was delicious, although the butter seemed to have been left outside since the previous day, which was odd. The town is only about 10 minutes away, and the rural setting is great if you're looking to relax. The accommodation was generally pleasant and well kept. Our room was nice, but the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned, with hair and residue from the previous guest and even a few small insects. The pool was very dirty and unusable. Despite that, it was a great stay.

The team really pampered us, and the bed was comfortable, the food was high quality, and the pool was hard to resist with all that beauty around it. At Quinta do Outeiro, everything felt perfect for days spent connecting with nature. There are plenty of pretty places around, but here it all comes together in an intimate setting that made for a deeply restful stay.

We loved the quality of the farm produce, especially the Partilha wine, which we'd recommend. There were strawberries and blueberries too, and everything was delicious. We were amazed by our stay at Quinta do Outeiro, with nature so close and everything done with such good taste. It makes you want to come back.
