The host was lovely and knew so much about wine, wildlife, food, and fishing. We bought a bottle of his estate wine, and it went perfectly with the beautiful gardens and atmosphere of this carefully preserved home. This is one of my favourite places I've stayed, and I could have stayed for weeks. I wish I could give it another star. I hope to return one day after the Camino.

The villa was spacious, cosy, and wonderful, with a pool and a separate building containing a lounge, small kitchen area, two showers and toilets, a gym, and an outdoor kitchen. The gardens and property were amazing, and we had such a good time. There were 17 of us, and on arrival the owner, Pedro, showed us around the beautiful 1700s buildings, then brought us a feast of Portuguese snacks and bottles of wine. On our last evening, Pedro brought homemade cake and wines as well. The only downside for our teenagers and younger guests was that there was no nightlife within walking distance. All in all, it was a fantastic holiday in an amazing place. Thanks to PEDRO.

Everyone was so welcoming, and Quinta da Agra is beautiful. We stayed for two nights, but could easily have stayed much longer.

There's plenty of room for a big holiday gathering, with lovely gardens, a modern pool, and a beautifully renovated house. The host was lovely, too. It's all about ten minutes from ponte de lima, which you can reach by coach from porto and lisboa, as it's on the caminho.

The garden and tasteful decor were absolutely amazing. Breakfast was very good, too. One of the best places I've stayed, highly recommend :)
